Paper and Poster InstructionsOral PresentationsOral presentations of papers should be 15 minutes long with 5 minutes for questions. In order to facilitate the smooth transition of speakers and sessions, and out of respect for your colleagues, please understand that the 15 minute time-frame will be strictly enforced. Papers can be presented in Spanish or English. The Nature Conservancy will provide translators during the meeting. Poster SessionsPosters should be a maximum of 118 cm wide and 91 cm tall (46.5 in. x 36 in.). Posters will be mounted with pins on display boards. The pins and display boards will be provided by the local arrangements committee. The principle author of each poster will be assigned a specific time to be at their poster during the conference so that participants will have the opportunity to visit with the authors and ask questions. Audiovisual EquipmentPresentation rooms will be equipped with digital projectors and computers for PowerPoint presentation. Presentations must be in PowerPoint format on a CD. Deliver your CD to your meeting room early on the day of your presentation so that your presentation can be downloaded to the hard drive of the computer. Requests for other audiovisual equipment should be submitted in writing to the program chair well in advance of the meeting. If your request requires leasing of equipment, you will be responsible for paying the full costs of that equipment. You will be notified in advance should this be necessary. |
