Registration Information

Registration covers admission to sessions, refreshments, the evening social, and the abstracts volume. All attendees (including paper and poster presenters) are expected to register.

Early Registration

Register by October 1, 2004 and save money!

Before October 1, regular registration is $50 and student registration is $25.

After October 1, regular registration is $65 and student registration is $40.

Travel and Lodging Information

• Fly into either Midland/Odessa (157 miles to Alpine) or El Paso (220 miles to Alpine).
• Car rentals are available at both Airports.
• There are also buses to Alpine from both airports.
• Buses run from Midland/Odessa twice daily at 9 am and 5:45 pm (4 -1/2 hours to Alpine)
• A bus leaves El Paso at 6 pm (6 hours to Alpine).
• Bus ticket price is $57 round trip from Midland/Odessa and $xx from El Paso.
• It is advisable to phone the bus terminal in Midland/Odessa to make sure the bus picks you up.

By Road:

• I-10, Highway 90, and Highway 67 to Alpine are all good roads.
• Arriving from the East on I-10, turn South onto Highway 67, approximately 10 miles West of Fort Stockton.
• Arriving from the West on I-10, turn South at Van Horn onto highway 90.
