Assuring the Future Assuring the FutureThe Chihuahuan Desert Foundation, Inc. is an independent foundation which serves as the endowment fund for the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute. It is designed to handle a diversity of gifts including annuities, trusts, securities, real estate, royalties, insurance, and will designations. Such gifts are invested for maximum growth and income by the foundation trustees with the interest and gains donated to the CDRI. As the result of a bequest in early 1998, the principle of the endowment is now over a quarter of a million dollars.
Donations for purposes of endowment can be made directly to the Chihuahuan Desert Foundation or through the Institute. A copy of the Foundation's Guidelines for Investment is available on request. Gifts toward endowment are the gifts that keep giving!
