Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (“CDRI”) Nature Center Release and Indemnity:

I, and all other members of my family and group, are aware that while visiting the CDRI Nature Center, numerous and varied risks and dangers are present, including but not limited to those generally associated with certain outdoor activities.  CDRI makes a good faith, reasonable effort to mitigate these risks and dangers, for the benefit of the visiting public, including issuing this warning.  I, and the members of my family and visiting group, agree to indemnify the CDRI Nature Center and hold it harmless from and against any and all claims, suits, damages, liabilities and expenses, including attorney’s fees and the CDRI Nature Center’s costs of defense in connection with the loss of life, personal or bodily injury and/or damage to or loss of property that arises from my visit, except to the extent that such loss or damage is occasioned by the gross negligence of the CDRI Nature Center.  The CDRI Nature Center has the consent of me, my family and others in my visiting group, to summon emergency assistance for the benefit of me, my family and others in my visiting group, if it’s available and appears reasonably necessary, and in the event I and/or they are unable to do so.
